Don’t Be So Mean, Jellybean
May 16, 2010
This might be the perfect campfire/sing along song of all time. And any song that has jellybean anything to with jellybean is a great song in book.

Retreat! Retreat!
May 12, 2010
It has been a really long time since I posted. But I think I am feeling a bit more ambitious now a days. So I have decided to start doing some regular posts once again.
I came across this band a few days back, and I haven’t been able to stop listening to them. They are called 65daysofstatic. The song is called Retreat! Retreat!
Hang me, Oh Hang Me
April 11, 2010
There really is nothing like a song about execution. And what makes it even better is the fact that a Canadian bands does it. The band is called The Deep Dark Woods, and I am official calling them the next thing to get way more attention in the coming year. The song is called Hang me, Oh Hang me.

I first heard this song last summer from Grant Lawrence on CBC Radio 3 Campfire Podcast. I have love this song ever since. It is like the perfect ending song at concert, or the perfect crowd participation song. Also what a fucking cool song name too!

I’m Going to Stay That Way
April 2, 2010
How can super bands go wrong? Indie super bands that is! Not you reality show bands like INXS or Supernova, but bands like The New Pornographers and Broken Social Scene. Well this band follows the same path, great songwriter and performer. They are called Lee Harvey Osmond, which I don’t mean to boast but I have connections too. The song is called I’m going to stay that way.
Enjoy!
Sunny Day Real Estate

Well I have been having flashbacks to high school since I’ve been listening to this song today. I was obsessed with this song back in the day, and actually just recently remember them. I always thought they had the cool band name. “Sunny Day Real Estate”.
Fun Fact: the bass player is also the bass player for Foo Fighters…wow!

Throw Me To The Rats

Well I have to admit that The Tom Fun Orchestra freak me out. But I think thats what I like about them. You can defiantly hear that Tom Waits was a big influence on these east coasters. The song is called Throw Me To The Rats.
